Intuitively, it feels like the concept of regeneration is gaining traction. More people are talking about it (such as presentations at the recent Natural Products Expo);  more projects invoking it; more companies are adopting it; interest from donors and investors seems higher.

This is a good thing. Helping to build out the network supporting regeneration is a crucial component of building a successful movement.

Getting together with other people who see the potential of a regenerative future is a good way to accelerate our progress. Regen18, to be held in San Francisco May 1-4 in the heart of the fabled Mission District, is a special opportunity — perhaps even what we might call a nucleator or, borrowing Buckminister Fuller’s term, a trimtab. The event can and should be a catalytic, field-building event. (Note: RASA is a network partner.)

Regen18 has some truly unique things going for it, including:

  • being in the Bay Area where, let’s face it, a lot of crazy ideas blow up to become globe-straddling realities,
  • an organizing team with a history of mainstreaming big concepts,
  • a cross-cutting set of tracks (food & agriculture, urban, innovative finance, and networks) spanning the gamut of what makes a “Regenerative Society”
  • a powerful group of presenters,
  • plus, a self-organized “Open Space” day (May 4) for us to work together to figure out how to seriously move the needle for people and planet.

Come if you can! Friday, March 30, 2018 is the last day for early bird prices, plus you get an extra 30% off with this link. The Ticket includes a gala celebration featuring the world-famous Kronos Quartet, in a performance at the historic Victoria Theater for conference ticketholders only.

See you there?
